FAQ
1) What is the periodicity of the Journal?
The Journal is published in a BI-ANNUAL regimen (two issues per year, in April and October)
2) Does the Journal have a template for submissions? Is it mandatory?
Yes, the Journal has a template (click here) which is mandatory
3) How do I submit a paper?
After ensuring you have followed all applicable guidelines to your manuscript, you should send the manuscript file (Microsoft word format - .DOC) along with the cover letter file (editable PDF) to jlpphs@gmail.com. The only way to submit a paper is by the Journal's e-mail (jlpphs@gmail.com)
4) How long does it take for the review process?
The review process may take up to 60 days from the date of receiving the paper to be started.
5) Is there any Article Processing Charges - APC - (publication fees) applicable?
To welcome and encourage authors from all over the world to publish with us, the Journal of Law, Public Policies, and Human Sciences is excited to announce that, for an undetermined period, there will be NO PUBLICATION FEES. During this time, Editors will cover web hosting, open access, DOI number, and other service costs.
6) Is there any other applicable fee for the paper to be published?
Yes.
In case the authors do not have time or proper conditions to execute the formatting of the manuscript according to the template file, the Journal can provide all the adaptation needed. However, this is an optional service and a formatting fee (USD 80) will be charged for this service;
Authors will be invited to pay USD 100 as a proofreading fee in case the paper has more than 100 issues on English grammatical, correctness, clarity, and engagement errors.
It is important to note, however, that these fees will only be charged after the authors explicitly agree and request through e-mail and / or by the Cover Letter.
7) Where is the Journal indexed on?
In the proper time it will be indexed.
8) Does the Journal provide the DOI number?
Yes.

10) What are the subjects not covered by the Scope of the Journal?
- Analysis of current cases
- Analysis of new laws (approved legislation with less than one year) or proposals of laws. The Journal is focused on the analysis of the results of the legislation, not on its intentions. How many jobs the new legislation created or destroyed? What was the impact of the legislation on the GDP? What type of legislation should be reviewed? Can it be obsolete?

11) Do I need to pay to get access to any of the published papers?
No. You can download any paper you want free of charges. This is an Open Acess free of cost or other access barriers Journal.
12) I have submitted a paper to the Journal's e-mail (jlpphs@gmail.com) and have not received any feedback from the editors. What should I do?
In case your e-mail with the submission was not replied within one week (7 days), please try again and/or contact the editors by WhatsApp or telegram message. It may happen for many reasons the e-mail does not arrive in the Journal's inbox e-mail.
13) I would like to join the Editorial board or act as a reviewer of the Journal. How do I do?
The Journal of Law, Public Policies, and Human Sciences is continuously accepting applications from senior scientists to join our Editorial Board and to act as a reviewer.
To join us either as an editorial board member or reviewer, apart from holding a Ph.D. degree and have a publication track record, you have to have at least two (2) papers submitted and approved after peer-reviewing to this Journal.
After having submitted and approved three (2) papers to this Journal we will be able to move forward with your application to the other members of the Journal to vote. After voting, your application may be accepted or declined.
